Biography
Claudia Spielmanns (*1962) lives and works in Hamburg, Germany and has studied painting and costume design at the Art Academy in Hamburg. The work of the artist functions as an intermediary between the spectator and the emotional world behind it. It tells stories which deal with application and alteration, the material changes, becomes and intertwines work and every day life. Completed with cipher and stratify her works combine every-day forms and signs with an extraordinary secure compositional fantasy and sensitive colour schemes.
