Biography
Rainer Fetting was a member of the ambitious group of artists 'Die Jungen Wilden' (the wild young ones), and the co-founder of the Gallery am Moritzplatz in Berlin. They used the isolated position of West Berlin in the 1970's and 1980's for their provocative an anarchic actions. He has received international recognition with his paintings and sculptures. His most famous work is certainly the 'Brandt' sculpture for the Willy Brandt House in Berlin. Less known is his early adaptation of photography and film as a medium for his artistic expression.
